Welcome to PrecisionMade DFW. By using our website (www.precisionmadedfw.com) and purchasing our products or services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read carefully, as these terms govern your use of our services and form a binding agreement between you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) and PrecisionMade DFW (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
1. Custom Orders & Design Files
We currently produce 3D printed parts only from print-ready files provided by customers (e.g., STL/STEP files or public model links). Custom 3D modeling services are not offered at this time.
For printed and engraved products customers may upload their own artwork, use our product designer, or select our Design Assistance service.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that uploaded designs, logos, or artwork do not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.
2. Proofs & Approvals
If you request Design Assistance, we will provide a proof/mockup for approval.
Orders will not move into production until proofs are approved.
Once approved, you assume full responsibility for the accuracy of the design.
3. Refunds, Returns & Cancellations
Custom products are non-refundable once production has begun, except in cases of damage or defect.
Cancellations may only be made prior to production. Once work has started, cancellations are not permitted.
If a product is damaged during shipping, please contact us within 7 business days of delivery with photos of the damage so we can resolve the issue.
Refunds, replacements, or credits will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
4. Product Limitations
We do not engrave or print on customer-supplied items; all products must be purchased through PrecisionMade DFW.
3D printed products are provided as-is for functional or decorative use. They are not certified for food safety, medical use, or critical safety applications.
Engraved and sublimated products may vary slightly in appearance due to natural materials (e.g., slate, wood, bamboo) and the printing/engraving process.
5. Intellectual Property
All website content, product designs created by us, logos, and branding materials are the property of PrecisionMade DFW and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written consent.
Customers retain rights to their own uploaded artwork but grant us a limited license to use such artwork strictly for the purpose of fulfilling their order.
6. Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice.
Sales tax is applied where required by law.
Payment must be received in full before production begins.
7. Shipping & Delivery
We ship nationwide within the United States.
Estimated turnaround for most products is 3–5 business days plus shipping time. Bulk orders or complex engravings may require additional production time.
We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, or events outside our control.
8. Design Asset Usage Policy
PrecisionMade DFW provides a curated design element library for the purpose of creating physical products produced by PrecisionMade DFW.
- Design elements made available in our product designer are licensed assets and may be used only within the PrecisionMade DFW platform to create customized products.
- Customers may not download, extract, reuse, resell, or distribute individual design elements, fonts, or graphics for digital or standalone use.
- Preview downloads are provided for visualization purposes only and are not intended for reproduction or resale.
- Customers may upload and use design files they own the rights to. By uploading content, the customer affirms they have the legal right to use that content.
9. Warranties & Liability
We guarantee that products will be produced according to the specifications approved at the time of order.
We are not liable for errors in customer-provided artwork, typos, or low-resolution files.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, PrecisionMade DFW disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
Our liability is limited to the cost of the product purchased. We are not responsible for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.
10. Use of Products
Customers are responsible for the safe and lawful use of products purchased from PrecisionMade DFW.
Certain products (e.g., laser-engraved tumblers, cutting boards, or 3D printed parts) may require specific care instructions, which will be provided. Failure to follow these instructions may result in reduced product lifespan.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Kaufman County, Texas.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of these terms.
